The 2016 vintage is sadly the last one from this vineyard (it has since been grafted to Nebiolo), but this wine is going out with a bang! Where do I start? It is definitely on the fruity and rich side of Montepuciano and it packs vibrant flavors of black cherry and currants. The fine grained tannins mesh beautifully with the juicy core of the wine. I think I'm in love. Only 48 cases produced.
