2022 Sagrantino

This little  known variety from Umbria in Italy can be a tannic monster. Not here. Early picking and minimum  skin contact  yielded a taut but  scrumptious red with bright amarena cherry flavor and a friendly and lively mouthfeel. Think la dolce vita on a souped up crimson Vespa. Only 33 cases produced.
